The Theravada Contract Score, abbreviated TCS, is the high-precision contractual score used by Theravada Corporation to determine an employee's rank inside Theravada-specific contracts. It is not a global syraki rule, not a civilizational standard, and not a measure of personal worth, ontological superiority, moral value, or general syraki status. It is Theravada's own corporate method for measuring functional authority through many weighted variables, including role, clearance, mission-criticality, technical competence, command suitability, operational responsibility, reliability under constraint, classified information handling, ethical stability, infrastructure access, and contextual assignment.

TCS operates within Theravada's contractual hierarchy, which sits on top of the basic ontological hierarchy of syraki civilization. Other organizations are free to define different hierarchy systems, different ranking methods, different authority contracts, or even no internal hierarchy at all, though hierarchy-free organization is uncommon in syraki society. When a TCS crosses a rank threshold, the employee's Theravada rank changes automatically within the relevant contract layer. This authority is real inside Theravada work, missions, research, and operations, but it does not override the deeper civilizational order: if Theravada hierarchy conflicts with the foundational hierarchy of the Complex, Central Algorithm preponderance, or an emergency activation of the base hierarchy, the deeper layer takes precedence.
