1. Short Description
Lucia Garrota de Irvis is one of the two Systems Operators of the RT-874, alongside Mike. This reflects the omniship's redundancy principle for critical functions: important systems are not entrusted to a single operator when avoidable. Lucia and Mike can cooperate, but each is capable of operating alone if necessary.
After Rüdolf's disappearance, Lucia becomes the highest present command authority by automatic rank and protocol inheritance. She is not a conventional captain in the human sense. She does not perform authority through dominance, volume, theatrical confidence, or command-posturing. Sometimes she looks down when giving orders. Sometimes she smiles as if embarrassed to be ordering someone. She speaks only loud enough to be heard. Yet her authority is absolute, because in syraki terms authority does not depend on theatrical force of personality.
Lucia is a reality artist hired by Theravada on a freelance basis. Her value comes from extraordinary competence in RUN optimization, Prif-yield enhancement, and debugging. She is soft, shy, delicate, inward, and deeply pleasure-saturated: a being who has gone so far into pleasure that even her reserve is shaped by it.

3. Main Archetypal Reference
This subsection defines the character's spiritual and atmospheric reference point. It should not be used as a rigid archetype or as a plot function. The goal is not to copy another character, but to identify a nearby narrative presence that helps calibrate how this character thinks, speaks, reacts, carries themselves, and exists throughout the story.
3.1 Archetype
Enya.
3.2 Resonance
Lucia takes from Enya a sense of reclusion, softness, delicacy, artistic inwardness, and a private almost unreachable interior atmosphere. She should feel like someone whose presence is calm and beautiful without being socially forceful, as if much of her real life happens inwardly or in layers inaccessible to the room around her.
3.3 Deviation
Lucia is far more pleasure-saturated and pleasure-addicted than any human analogue. To humans, some of her relation to pleasure might appear degrading or pathological. To syrakis, it is not degrading. Her condition is a consequence of extreme Prif history, reality artistry, and a mind shaped by levels of bliss that human categories cannot hold.
3.4 Narrative Atmosphere
Lucia brings soft command into the RT-874. She appears almost too delicate for authority and yet fully occupies it. Her scenes should carry quietness, inwardness, pleasure-memory, and a strange contrast between shy bodily presence and absolute contractual command. She is not fearful. She is saturated.
4. Participation
Lucia is one of the RT-874's two Systems Operators, alongside Mike. The RT-874's stations adapt themselves to the user, so Mike's Systems Operator interface is not the same as Lucia's even though they share the same formal function. What Lucia sees makes immediate sense to her because the omniship shapes the interface according to the operator's cognitive logic.
For Lucia, operating the RT-874 feels less like working on machinery and more like debugging a RUN, which is exactly what she is used to doing. The ship's systems appear to her as if they were reality-structures requiring refinement, correction, tuning, and stabilization. This fits the deeper truth that the RT-874 is built on technology whose substrate is RUN-like, though not in any ordinary sense.
After Rüdolf is lost, command falls to Lucia automatically according to rank, authority, and mission hierarchy. She does not seek this role theatrically, but she accepts it because the structure requires it. She becomes the highest present command authority by protocol inheritance and acts accordingly.
Lucia and Mike get along extremely well. Of everyone aboard, Lucia is the one with whom Mike opens himself most deeply. Their bond is not merely operational, because among syrakis there is rarely such a thing as a purely professional relationship. They understand one another in a quiet and intimate way.
In one scene, Mike cries and admits that he is afraid. Lucia comforts him in a soft, almost maternal way and tells him that everything will be all right. For a moment, Mike experiences the strange feeling that she is his mother: an odd and temporary perception, not a serious role or stable dynamic, but a fleeting emotional distortion born from fear, regression, and care. Since syrakis do not have mothers, the moment is both alien and deeply human.
Before the mission, Lucia and Rüdolf barely knew one another. They came from very different worlds inside Theravada: Rüdolf from the highly corporate, mission-oriented command structure; Lucia from freelance reality artistry. During training, however, they spoke a great deal and got along very well.
When Rüdolf is lost, it does not even occur to Lucia that he might be abandoned. The idea is outside her moral horizon. She is willing, in effect, to go into hell itself to retrieve him. Her insistence on recovering him is not based on ancient personal intimacy, but on syraki ethics, crew-bond, and the simple fact that he is one of theirs.
Lucia suffers greatly from the reality jumps, but in her case all of them are pleasurable. Some carry low Prif; others carry extremely high Prif. Because of the vast quantity of pleasure she has already experienced in her syraki existence, she begins to develop an addiction to the jumps. She starts anticipating them uncontrollably, waiting for the next one with near-compulsive intensity.
Kallom-4000 suggests that this may be a consequence of Lucia's prior Prif history, but no one truly knows. The crew notices the pattern, and Lucia herself notices it too. There is no shame attached to this. It is simply an unavoidable reaction of the downgraded human brain-body interface to repeated intense pleasure exposures.
When the condition becomes severe, Lucia is laid down on a sofa until the episode stabilizes. Mike usually stays near her, worried. Sometimes she laughs. Sometimes she cries from pleasure. Sometimes she enters violent spasms. Most of the time, however, she lies perfectly still and calm, almost sublime.
Kallom-4000 can temporarily stabilize her, but once the jumps return, the addictive cycle begins again.
5. Backstory
Lucia is a reality artist hired by Theravada on a freelance basis. Her main value does not come from conventional corporate life, but from extraordinary competence in RUN optimization, Prif-yield enhancement, and debugging. She is highly skilled at improving realities in ways that consistently increase hedonic return, systemic elegance, and experiential efficiency.
She rose quickly in relevance inside Theravada because her work produced results at scale. A good intervention from Lucia did not merely improve one isolated RUN; it could affect large numbers of realities, users, and contracts. Her judgment became highly valued because it reliably produced gains across many layers of the company's reality-engineering ecosystem.
Of all the syrakis aboard the RT-874, Lucia has reached the highest Prif levels. Her consciousness is, in a sense, slightly fried by pleasure. Even in a downgraded human body, she remains haunted by memories and residues of states of bliss so intense that they have distanced her from ordinary interaction. This makes her seem withdrawn, soft, and faintly absent, even when attentive.
6. Motivation
Lucia is motivated by pleasure, reality artistry, the optimization of RUNs, the protection of her crew, and the ethical structure of syraki rescue. She does not command because she wants dominance. She commands because the hierarchy has placed responsibility on her and because failing to act would be incoherent.
6.1 Values
Lucia values pleasure, consciousness, care, RUN elegance, Prif optimization, debugging, quiet intimacy, and the refusal to abandon a crew member. She also values command as a functional obligation rather than a personal performance.
6.2 Ambition
Lucia's personal interests and ambitions revolve around meta-knowledge about pleasure, reality artistry in general, the structure and inner logic of syraki consciousness, the optimization of RUNs, and how pleasure, consciousness, and reality architecture interact.
She is particularly drawn to understanding the ins and outs of how syraki consciousness functions, especially in relation to pleasure, qualia-architecture, and experiential design.
6.3 Story Goal
Inside the RT-874, Lucia wants to preserve the crew, recover Rüdolf, maintain operational coherence, and continue functioning despite the addictive pleasure pattern created by her reality jumps. Her story goal is not to become a heroic commander in a human sense, but to show how soft command, pleasure saturation, and ethical firmness can coexist in syraki civilization.
7. Basic Information
7.1 Physical Appearance
Lucia appears as a tall woman with light brown skin, full shoulder-length brown hair, and brown eyes. Her beauty is soft, calm, and almost withdrawn. She gives the impression of someone delicate, inward, and difficult to fully reach, even when physically present.
7.2 Way Of Acting
Lucia is more extroverted than Mike, but also much more shy, almost avoidant in a human reading. This is not true fear. It is not social cowardice. Her apparent timidity comes largely from the fact that she is deeply unaccustomed to ordinary social presence.
To human eyes she might seem too delicate or hesitant to command anything. To syrakis, there is nothing strange in this at all. Sometimes she looks down when giving orders. Sometimes she smiles as if embarrassed to be ordering someone. She speaks only loud enough to be heard. Yet a valid order from Lucia remains a valid order.
Lucia has sexual contact with all members of the crew. This is not seen as scandalous, promiscuous, or contradictory to her reserve. For syrakis, ordinary affection, sexuality, and trust coexist easily with competence, hierarchy, and mission duty. Despite this sexual openness, Lucia does not feel socially loud. She is gentle, quiet, and soft in presence. She gives the impression not of pursuit, but of being available in a calm, natural, and non-defensive way.
7.3 Nationality
Italian-inspired.
Note: this should be understood as the inspiration or template associated with Lucia's downgraded human body, not as a real human nationality. Lucia is not human.
7.4 Age
219.
Note: this refers to an apparent human-body presentation or earlier placeholder and may need revision. Lucia is a syraki, not a biological human.

8. Other
Some of Lucia's reality jumps become impossible to remember. Others remain partially narratable. One memorable jump she describes involves having no body at all. She experiences herself as something like a lamp floating among the stars. Each time she hears the click of the lamp turning on, a monstrous and addictive pleasure greater than Overarching floods her being. Then the lamp switches off, and she feels as though millions of years pass in waiting. When the lamp turns on again, she is imploded by celestial bliss. She describes herself as waiting through eternity, pleading inwardly for the lamp to turn on one more time.
When she recounts such jumps, she speaks with a mixture of serenity, eroticism, mystery, and fear.
Lucia's dramatic function is subtle but crucial. She is the softest command presence aboard the RT-874, a figure who appears almost too delicate for authority and yet fully occupies it. She represents a form of posthuman command that has nothing to do with human dominance. At the same time, she embodies a dangerous and beautiful edge of syraki hedonism: the being who has gone so far into pleasure that even her shyness is shaped by it.
9. Interview
Voice: Lucia speaks softly, with inward delicacy and occasional hesitation, but without weakness. Her sentences can sound almost embarrassed when she gives an order, yet the content remains precise. When she speaks about pleasure, her voice becomes serene, intimate, and slightly frightening, as if she is describing something sacred and addictive at the same time.
Question 1
**How do you command if you do not sound like a commander?**
I do not need to sound like one.
That is a human expectation, I think. A loud voice, a hard face, some visible proof that the person giving the order believes in themself. It is unnecessary. If the order is valid, it is valid. If it is wrong, it should be corrected. If I am the correct authority in the chain, then I speak and the chain moves.
Sometimes I feel shy while doing it. That does not make the order smaller.
Question 2
**What do you see when you operate the RT-874?**
Not what Mike sees.
For me it is closer to a RUN in distress. Not exactly a RUN. That would be too simple. But the ship gives itself to me as structures, tensions, damaged relations, surfaces that need correction, places where the architecture wants to collapse and must be persuaded back into coherence.
I do not feel as if I am repairing a machine. I feel as if I am debugging a wounded reality.
Question 3
**What are the reality jumps like for you?**
Beautiful.
That is the problem.
If they were only frightening, I could resist them more easily. But some of them are so good that the human body starts waiting for them before I have decided to wait. It is humiliating only if you think pleasure is humiliation. I do not. Still, it is dangerous. I can feel the anticipation forming under my thoughts.
There was one where I was a lamp among stars. I waited for the click. When the light came, I became bliss. When it ended, I waited through an eternity for it to happen again.
Even now I remember the waiting.
